Over the past few weeks, the TANDM team had the privilege of hosting our annual TCC25 event in Somerset West and Pretoria, and what an unforgettable experience it was. On 20 November we welcomed attendees to the elegant Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West, and on 25 November we continued the momentum at the inspiring Future Africa Campus in Pretoria. With a total of 212 attendees across the two events, TCC25 once again proved to be an invaluable gathering for customers, partners and professionals in the testing and measuring industry.
A Gathering of Minds
TCC25 is all about sharing knowledge, sparking conversations and strengthening relationships across the industry. From the moment attendees arrived, familiar faces reconnected, new introductions were made, and a strong sense of community could be felt throughout.
Inspiring Presentations and Expert Insights
A key highlight of TCC25 was the impressive line-up of presenters. These included:
Anique, Enrico, Daniel from Gibela, Stephan Zeranka from Citra, Alastair Bovim from Insight Terra, Carl-Hein Visser from ETSE, Hubert van der Merwe from eNtsa/ NMU, Alan Chen from BST, Michandre Smit from CSIR, Rayden Peyer from NWU, Ronnie Scheepers from ESKOM RT&D, Heinri Brink from Incomar, Thinus Ras from Soldersmith, Guillaume Cadiou from HBK, Juho Pirnes from Stresstech and Howard Qiu from GAAT Equipment.
Each presenter brought extensive experience and delivered insightful sessions on industry trends and practical applications. Attendees engaged enthusiastically, asking questions, sharing their own experiences and starting conversations that continued long after the sessions ended.
Our Valued Sponsors
TCC25 was made possible through the generous support of our sponsors. We are proud to recognise Stresstech as our Gold Sponsor. Our Silver Sponsors included Qfinsoft, Ultimate Partner, Simteq Engineering, Netpoint IT Solutions and HBK. GAAT Equipment supported TCC25 as our Bronze Sponsor. We also extend our thanks to Nanuk, Privé and Sylvac for sponsoring the gifts for our best presenters, and to Zebra Matogen for sponsoring the TCC25 notebooks. Their contributions added immense value to the experience and helped elevate the event for all attendees.
Learning, Sharing and Growing Together
Across both events, the spirit of connection truly stood out. Whether during question-and-answer sessions, panel discussions or casual conversations over coffee, attendees were actively engaging with one another, exchanging ideas and building meaningful relationships. Many mentioned how valuable it was to connect directly with industry experts, peers and partners. These connections fostered collaboration, sparked new ideas and strengthened the sense of community that makes TCC25 so special.
Fun, Food and Friendly Competition
TCC25 was not only informative, but it was also enjoyable. Guests were treated to delicious food, refreshing drinks and even ice cream to keep the energy high throughout the day. Bingo games between presentations added a fun break and had everyone participating enthusiastically. Our social media challenge added more excitement, with Luan Swart winning the Lego set in Pretoria and Jacques Venter taking the prize in Somerset West. The best presenter awards went to Hubert van der Merwe in Somerset West and Alan Chen in Pretoria, each receiving sponsored gifts that added a memorable finishing touch to the day.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on two successful TCC25 events, we are filled with gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead. The conversations sparked, the knowledge shared and the connections made will continue to inspire new projects and collaborations.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated presenters, valued sponsors and every attendee who contributed to the success of TCC25. We deeply appreciate the support of all our sponsors for helping make this event possible. We look forward to welcoming you back for TCC26, where we will continue to learn, innovate and grow together as a community.
